I graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School, The University of North Alabama in Elementary Education, and Samford University with a Master's in Elementary Education. I received my National Board Certification in 2007 and renewed it in 2017. 

I began teaching in 1998 and have been teaching in Trussville since 2001.  I have taught both 6th and 2nd grades.

I am a wife and mom to 3 precious daughters.  We love to spend time together as a family.  My girls keep me busy dancing, shopping, playing tennis, singing, and making things.
