My name is Karen Ekonen and I teach 3rd grade math and science.  This is my 13th year teaching, and my 5th year teaching 3rd grade.  I graduated from The University of Alabama with my B.S. in Elementary Education, and I have my Masters in Elementary Education from The University of West Alabama.  I have been married for 15 years, and I have three children.
