I attended E. B. Erwin High School where I played football, golf, and wrestling.  I graduated from Erwin in 1975 and went to Auburn University on a wrestling scholarship.  I graduated from Auburn University in 1982 with a B.S. in Business Education.  In 2003 I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Masters Degree in School Counseling. 

My first teaching job was at Erwin High School.  I came to Hewitt-Trussville High School in 1998 as a Business Education Teacher and a Coach.  I was a School Counselor from 2003-2006 here at Hewitt-Trussville.  In 2006 I went back into the classroom as a Business Ed Teacher.  In 2015 I became the Work Based Learning (Coop) teacher here at Hewitt-Trussville.
