Welcome!  I am Vanessa Romano.  I teach Advanced English 10, English 11 and serve as the Senior Board Sponsor, Dog Pound Sponsor, and Assistant Debate Coach.  I am a proud graduate of Hewitt Trussville High School and a lifelong Trussville resident.  My husband and three children also graduated from HTHS, so we are all Husky fans!  I attended the University of Alabama and UAB, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education/English Language Arts.  I also obtained a Master’s Degree in English from Samford University. I love my community and love being a part of the HTHS family!  I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning!
