Degrees and Certifications:

Brookelyn Ennis

I am Ms. Ennis and I teach advanced and general Spanish II here at HTHS! Hewitt-Trussville High School is my alma mater and I’m excited to be back home—especially, in that, I get to teach a subject I am truly passionate about. I recently graduated from Auburn University and it was there that I obtained my Master’s degree in Spanish Education. War Eagle! I plan to focus my classes on the understanding of and communication in the Spanish language through the exchange of real-life messages by implementing strategies that build vocabulary and grammatical structures among other skills. I have had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain and San José, Costa Rica. I have also been able to go on a mission trip to Aramachay, Perú. I am looking forward to getting to know my students this year!
