PRINCIPAL

Hello! My name is Jared Meads and I am the Principal of Hewitt Trussville Middle School. I am happily married to my wife Hannah; and father to two beautiful boys named Tucker and Bennett (Soon to have a 3^rd boy named Carter). I am very proud to have grown up in Trussville and to be an HT graduate of 2007. I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. I have spent most of my career at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School where I served as a teacher, coach, and administrator.  I spent the 2022-2023 school year as an Assistant Principal at Hewitt-Trussville High School, and am excited to return as Interim Principal at HTMS. I am blessed to be a part of this community and school system. Looking forward to a great school year, and Go Huskies!
