Board Vice President - Mrs. Sherrye Tolbert
Sherrye Tolbert was appointed to the Trussville City Board of Education in March of 2021 serving a 5-year term ending 2026. Mrs. Tolbert worked in the banking industry prior to her current career, Multifamily Housing. She has been serving the Multifamily Housing industry for more than two decades.
Mrs. Tolbert is a native of West Point, MS, though she has been in the Birmingham area since 1996. She and her husband, Bernardo, have two children. The family has been involved in Trussville City Schools and the general Trussville community over the years in many capacities.
Mrs. Tolbert's term expires in 2026.
