Mrs. Rachelle Taylor
Welcome to third grade and fourth grade virtual learning with Mrs. Taylor!
I am very excited and honored to have the opportunity to teach your child. This is my sixteenth year in education with experience in all subject areas in early childhood - sixth grade. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at UAB and my Master's degree in Elementary Education at UAB. This will be my sixth year teaching at Paine Elementary, fifth year teaching fourth grade math and science and second year teaching third grade math and science! I am excited to be teaming with Ms. Amy Kuhn who will be your virtual teacher for third and fourth ELA, Social Studies, Grammar and Writing.
I am married to the most precious man and Trussville native, Thomas. We currently live in Trussville and love our community. We have two beautiful female fur children, Bella (8 years old) and Baylee (2 years old). Until we are blessed to have children of our own, yours will serve as the ones I love, care, and advocate for! I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and our pups; cooking, reading, singing, anything active outdoors, traveling, outreach with our church, and watching Husky/Alabama football.
I humble myself in taking your children under my wing as if they are my own to ensure they are loved, safe, and successful in their growth and development. I am passionate about my students, families, and Paine Elementary. I welcome you to the new school year. I look forward to developing lasting relationships with my students and families. I know our year looks different virtually. However, I am super passionate about teaching through technology. With a little patience and a positive attitude, we will learn how to use Schoology together and have fun while learning together! Families, I know we will work together to ensure we are all successful and I look forward to seeing your kids grow!
