  • MUSH MENTORS:

    M: MENTORING

    U: UNDERSTANDING

    S: SHARING

    H: HELPING

The goal of the MUSH Mentor program is to develop relationships between 8th-grade students and 6th-grade students. The mentors learned how to assist current 6th graders with problem-solving skills, as well as helping them to improve self-confidence and transition to middle school. The MUSH Mentors were selected based on leadership skills, determination, integrity, a desire to serve the school and community, and several other key character traits. Some of the activities they have participated in over the past few years include: mentoring students one-on-one, pep rallies, the 6th grade Veterans program, Red Ribbon Week, the Charity Basketball game, TCS monthly character skills, and new student breakfast, and many more.

Congrats to the 30 new MUSH Mentors for the 2022-23 School Year. These students were selected from 75 applicants; 55 were interviewed and 30 were selected. This was our BEST group of applicants yet! Selected students should plan to meet in the Activity Room during HT on Monday, May 23rd.
